Catch it early. Act sooner. Care better. Many neurological conditions show signs in the first weeks of life, but identifying them requires continuous expert observation that most families cannot access. Diagnoses can arrive years too late, costing children the time they need most.

Baby Minder is designed to change that. Mounted above a crib, it continuously monitors infants from birth to 24 months, using computer vision and AI to identify atypical movement patterns. When something appears unusual, it sends a short video and preliminary analysis directly to the pediatrician.

Already in use at Jundiaí University Hospital, part of Brazil’s public health system, Baby Minder is supporting more than 3,000 babies. The technology can anticipate diagnoses by up to six years and has the potential to reduce hospital costs dramatically.
